WANTING TO STAY IN THE AREA ?

A newly refurbished self contained annexe has just opened in Widdington and offers a home away from home experience. The accommodation offers 1 double and 1 twin (space for 4 adults) a fully equiped kitchen, reception room and bathroom. The house can be rented as a B&B or as a self catered holiday let.

My husband lived in Widdington before his Family moved here to Australia in 1963.We are coming to Uk for a holiday later this year and I would like to know about overnight accomodation and meals in Widdington.Do you have photos and prices you could send me.We will need acc. for two adults and I would really like to stay in Widdington for one or two nights.

I am the website creator, just writing to let you know that the landlord and landlady of the Fleur De Lys ( Chris and Ellie ) are away on holiday for the next two weeks but will be more than happy to provide the information on their return. Hi there,
Ellie here, back from our hols!
The only accomodation available in the village is accross the road at the Old Post Office. Our webmaster Jon has already given you the name and contact details for Cathie and Ian there. I don’t know if you have spoken to them yet but they can offer bed and breakfast or a self contained holiday let. Anyone who stays there can also receive a 10% discount on any meals at The Fleur, so between us and the cottage all meals can be catered for!
If you are not intersted in satying there though there is another very pleasant B&B in Newport. It’s call Buriton House and is very near to the train station so is convenient if you don’t have a car or if you plan to travel into London or Cambridge. Hazel at the Buriton can be contacted on 01799 542237.
