01_Fleur_De_LysMark Green, our chef,  has brought a superb level of consistency and flavour to our menu.

We continue to offer pub classics such as 100% Beef Burgers and our famous Fish & Chips often dubbed ‘Whale & Chips’. Please keep an eye on the menus as they change monthly to offer variation of taste and flavours.

The chips served at the Fleur have a superb reputation. We use a potato branded Potato Lovers.  Golden, crunchy, delicious! Why not share a melted Camembert served with a bucket of chips. A match made in heaven. Just make sure you leave room for your main.

For those of you who prefer a slightly more modern twist will be pleased to know that the Specials Board is being used to offer great ingredients and fantastic new combinations of flavours such as a mixed grilled fish with creamy mash and local vegetables or the stuffed pork fillet with crispy parsnips, home-made apple sauce, and wilted spinach.  But please be aware these dishes do change daily. We think they are seriously delicious, so much so, we cannot guarantee they won’t sell out quick!

Mark will continue to serve the Fleur’s favourite Sunday menu of roast lunches ( including our renowned Surrey Farm Ribeye Beef, which we serve rare) and a small selection of fish and vegetarian options, but please remember we can get quite busy especially at weekends, so bookings are advisable.

Senior lunch specials will still be available on Wednesday and Thursdays, offering two courses for just £9 or three courses for £11 to all those over 60.

Please see our Sample Menu page for more details of the current menu.

Fresh Specialist Produce: Flourish – Sustainable Farming by Hand and Horse, Cambridgeshire

This summer we are excited to be using two local fresh produce growers. Tyler, of Dynamic Orgnanics and Calixta of Flourish. Based just outside Cambridge these two young farmers are using biodynamic methods to produce an array of fresh and exotic produce. This method treats soil fertility, plant growth, and livestock care as ecologically interrelated tasks.

Mark our chef, is delighted to be using the locally grown items in our menus.

Below is a picture of Calixta with her heavy horses Bill and Ben who plough the soil on her farm and some of the produce she is growing.
