  • My favourite pub by a country mile and worth several to get there provided I get a lift back!

  • my thrid visit to this pub, The hosts and his team never let you down with fantastic food and hospitality! so impressed i am thinking of moving my School mates xmas lunch which is based in london every year to the Fluer.

    thursday quiz nite, thumbs up.

  • Saturday 5th November 2011 and our 6th or 7th visit to the Fleur this year and they continue to impress with excellent food & service, not to mention the great beer.

You are always made welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The bar was busy after the fireworks on Saturday, but even with only a couple of staff on duty the food was served promptly and there was a great atmosphere.

    Well done guys.

  • Chris & Ellie go the extra mile to make all guests feel welcome, it’s almost like stepping into your own living room. The Fleur is by far the best pub in the area, infact I go past 4 other pubs on the way there. Great Ales, lagers, wines and company. Even if you’re not a local its well worth going out of your way for.

  • The Fleur is the most wonderful welcoming pub i have ever been to. Chris and Ellie have service with a smile always and the food is always fantastic. They sang Happy Birthday and gave my friend a cake with candles on, she was so delighted and had never been in the pub before but they will most definitely be back. thank you guys for a truly lovely afternoon, hope to see you soon.

  • A really pleasant evening for our family (3 kids aged 13, 10, 8) with good food in a very pleasant environment. As noted by many, the beer is particularly well kept and the guest golden beer from Daleside was in immaculate condition…

The staff are really pleasant and genuinely doing their best (and succeeding) in providing good natured and excellent service. The short menu is well chosen and demonstrates competent cooking, complemented by good quality ingredients.

The balance between pub and eating establishment is particularly noteworthy – it is a genuine pub offering a companionable drinking environment (plus a games room) that lives comfortably with the food offering.

  • Just had a birthday celebration lunch here on a Saturday, table for six. The food was exceptionally good and we sampled a good range of the menu (5 different meals for 6 people). Left feeling that we had good value for money as the portions were very generous. Great team here offering good service with a friendly welcome. As usual an excellent range of wine and real ales, all good quality. Best pub in the area by a country mile.

  • Loved the pub so much we moved house to live in Widdington!
