The Fleur de Lys 2012 Entry (Page 164)

“There are rumours of a ghost at this welcoming 400-year-old village local with a large open fireplace and beams. The games room has a full size pool table, fuzzball and dartsboard. This was the first pub to be saved from closure by the North West Essex branch of CAMRA after the branch’s formation many years ago. Quality meals are offered, with fresh ingredients, sourced locally (No Food Monday). The venue is close to the source of the River Cam and Prior’s Hall Barn , an English Heritage site. ”
