To all of our fabulous Fleur family.

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding with our delay in reopening.
We have received such an overwhelming sense of support and kindness and I know you guys are so looking forward to getting back in the door for your Fleur fix!
Unfortunately, it has not been a simple case of just dusting off the barrels and cracking open the bottles. There was an opportunity to get some very over due maintenance and decoration completed and as many of you will understand from experience with old buildings we opened up a can of worms, one thing lead to another and there was much more to do than originally thought.
Throughout this period we were also in communication with the landlord of the building trying to figure out a new business plan going forward that will allow us to continue in a post-COVID era. We have also being trying to push to get the toilets finally renovated.
This I can proudly tell you is underway!
Hooray I hear you all cry!
The downside is that we have realised that we can not safely trade whilst the works are being carried out.
We believe at this stage that we won’t be able to offer the full Fleur service until mid-September at the earliest when hopefully we’ll be able to unveil a more spacious, light and welcoming pub.
In the mean time, as works progress we do hope to be able to have the odd pop up night or event where possible - although of course it will be weather dependent and more importantly safe to do so within the COVID restrictions that will be placed upon us at the time.
So thank you again for your love, kindness and support. We do hope you will all agree these delays will be worth the wait.
Please keep your eye on social media for any developments.
All the best,
Chris, Ellie (little and not so little!), Benny, Cathie, Reece, Josh and the rest of the Fleur gang.
